An open-top bus ride is a great Belgrade tourist attraction, if you have foreigners as guests or you don’t know Belgrade. In this way, you can get to know the city in a short time, and then return to places that you especially liked. For the same purpose, I often use similar modes of transport when traveling in Europe. In this way, you will experience Belgrade from a different perspective. Take a ride and enjoy the beauties of the city “from above” and “with the wind in your hair”.
While driving, you will enjoy this unusual view of the most important sites and sights of the city. The tour is extremely informative, and part of the ride is during the sunset, which is a special experience. When you leave the station near the assembly, you will first drive along Kneza Miloša Street, then over Branko’s Bridge towards New Belgrade. On the way back, you will see the former Slavija Square, watch a huge fountain on the roundabout from a height, pass through Kralja Milana Street, to get to where you started from.
If you go with children, I advise them bring caps or hats, which are tied in some way, because the wind is constantly blowing while driving. Bring some fun for the kids to keep their attention. Be sure to apply sunscreen, even if driving is late in the afternoon. It lasts a long time and you are almost constantly exposed to the sun’s rays.
