I suggest one of the most beautiful walks in Belgrade. It is especially nice to leave in the summer around 6 pm, to wait for the sunset in one part. In one direction, the length of the trail is about 3.5 km and you need about 45 minutes of walking. If you go with a baby, you can go everywhere with a stroller. You can park your car in the parking lot near the sports center “Milan Gale Muškatirović” (former “May 25”), where the hiking (and cycling) trail begins. The price of parking is 60 dinars / h.
From here, head in the direction of the Nebojsa Tower. Along the way, you have several cafes, rafts and restaurants, and among the most beautiful are the raft “Viva” (try chicken sticks) and the Greek restaurant “Ploio” (try saganaki). When you reach the Nebojsa Tower, the trail continues along the confluence of the Sava and the Danube, all the way to the pier and the popular Beton Hall. The concrete hall has been converted into a series of modern restaurants, all overlooking the river. “Toro” is great (whatever you try is unusual and delicious), but in restaurants on this stretch you can also try Turkish cuisine, but also visit cabaret. Recently, a walkway was built in this part, so you can go to Kalemegdan in five minutes.
The trail continues to the promenade Sava Promenade, along which you have several beautiful modern playgrounds for children, and there are two good restaurants “Savanova” (try kebabs) and “Miradouro”, where you can try Portuguese food (I recommend the Portuguese saber) . At the end of the day, stop by for a fragrant green tea with jasmine at the Buddha Bar. Finally, stay here until sunset and watch the amazing view from one of the river terraces.
