As a result of study visits organized by the Tourist Organization of Serbia every year for journalists from all over the world, an article was published in the British newspaper “The Guardian”, which ranks Belgrade’s Dorcol among the 10 most attractive neighborhoods in Europe. The author of the text – Mary Novakovich, visited Serbia in May 2019 and wrote about Dorcol “Tucked away between the bohemian quarter of Skadarlija, Kalemegdan Fortress and the Danube bank, Dorcol exudes an atmosphere that may not at first glance leave the impression of a” cool “place , but will win you over in a special way.

The streets lined with tree-lined streets in Gornji Dorćol are further charmed by villas from the early 20th century and apartments from Tito’s time. This is a part of the city full of restaurants and bars, both old and new, which are mostly located in streets like Strahinjića Ban, Kneginja Ljubica and Kralja Petra “.

Among the neighborhoods in Valencia, Prague, Berlin, Rome, Gothenburg, Brussels, Porto, Warsaw and Paris, Belgrade’s Dorcol is on the list, in 9th place.
